I live in Rockaway Beach, New York (Yes, it is the infamous place from the Ramones song)  I have worked in the iconic Garment District in Midtown Manhattan for over 6 years. Designed all aspects of Life Eclectic Apparel, the women's woven tops line. I designed the prints as well as the styles.

I designed for By Design LLC, a large company that sells to every major department store in the country. I primarily oversaw the wovens category but also design cut and sew knits  as well. I love being challenged with the different needs of our diverse customer base and helping them to buy into the right trends.

I'm originally from California where I grew up sewing and designing my own clothes. After high school I headed off the college and earned a degree in business from San Diego State University. Soon I realized that I missed working with my hands and creating. I applied to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I received my MFA in Fashion Design.

Before joining By Design LLC, I designed for the line American Rag Cie. carried by Macy's. While at American Rag Cie., I worked on print driven garments that incorporate fabric mixing and fun trim details. I worked on all Non-denim styles, which  include tops, bottoms, and rompers.

Creative problem solving and design brainstorming are intrinsic to my work and are key motivators in my life. I love a design challenge and forecasting the right styles for each client.
